I suspect Locke’s the only one who can–and probably will–come back from the dead. It sure looks like the other “dead” characters who reappear are manifestations of the island.

Not going to disagree. I’m very skeptical about any “deaths” on this show as-is, but I’m with you: if anyone can cold come back from death, Mr. Wheelchair/gunshot to the chest is the man to do it.

Locke is Jacob, he had to die. That’s why he saw Christian. “Jacob”/John told Christian to tell John in the past what to do.
