So after Arrested Development left the air, the world’s greatest sitcom throne has been achieved by 30 Rock in this humble viewer’s opinion, with great guest stars, hilarious jokes and an attention to earlier thrown references that make it appointment television. Many people already know about Jennifer Aniston’s upcoming appearance on the show, but now E! is reporting that Oprah Winfrey is in final talks to appear in an episode?
For those unfamiliar with the show, back in Season One’s awesome “The Source Awards” episode, Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) refused to host the show unless he dressed (and talked) like Oprah. Now apparently Oprah will be part of a feudal story line between Tracy and Jenna (Jane Krakowski) that will span multiple episodes?
Man, October 30’s season premiere can’t come soon enough. Oh, said premiere will appear on the Hulu.com website several days before airing, so bookmark that mutha.
