It’s a cross between National Treasure and The Da Vinci Code — it’s The Last Templar, the NBC mini-series staring Mira Sorvino, Scott Foley (The Unit) and Victor Garber (Alias) and the amazing Omar Sharif.
Based on Raymond Khoury’s #1 international best-seller, the story revolves around an ancient decoder that’s been stolen from a collection of Vatican art. When the daughter of a famed archaeologist (Sorvino) discovers its connection to the history of the Knights Templar, she enlists the help of a New York detective (Foley) to find the decoder and the journal before they fall into the wrong hands. Clue by clue, continent by continent, murder by murder, the quest is on to discover a secret that could change the course of history.
The bonus features include storyboards, a photo gallery and Making The Last Templar, a behind-the-scenes featurette featuring Sorvino, Foley, Garber and Omar Sharif sharing their experiences filming the epic action-adventure on location in Montreal and Morocco. The featurette also takes a look at the stunts, special effects, and exotic locations that are featured in the film, and examines the background of the legendary and mystical medieval Templars.
If you’re a fan of ancient mysteries, international adventures and treasure hunts, you’ll want to own The Last Templar and we have FIVE copies to give away courtesy of Genius Products and RHI Entertainment.
