Uh newsflash! Last time I checked this was CBS, not ABC, & “Desperate Housewives” is on ABC, not CBS. So find yourself an ABC thread & post there. Don’t waste our time here. And BTW who cares about “Desperate Hosebags” anyway?! Way I see it, Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria-Parker & Marcia Cross are all gonna hold out on their contracts which will make it impossible to renegotiate their contracts, forcing that show into cancellation which I hope does happen. When it does happen, I can finally rejoice & be glad! I’ve had enough of that stupid show & its sacreligious “Thou Shalt Commit Adultery” message. If not for that piece of crap we’d never have had to worry about all these “Real Hosebags” reality shows & such. You wanna post about “D-Hosebags” then go to an ABC thread & knock yourself out there. ABC sucks – Time to end “Desperate Hosebags” once & for all!! CBS is #1!!!!

Boy am I glad CBS has the best comedys & dramas in its lineup even though I don’t watch many of them. In addition I’m thankful that CBS doesn’t air crap like Desperate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy or Private Practice, all which I hate w/an utter passion. Those shows have absolutely no business being on primetime TV. They’re all flippin soap operas & soaps are ruining TV as a whole. PTL 4 CBS!!!

@AnnieM. Unfortunately I don’t keep tabs w/the Hollyweird scene. NCIS, NCIS:LA & Cold Case are the only shows left on primetime that I watch anymore. I did watch The Unit & even NUMB3RS (until they wasted that show to promote new music than not many fans cared about.) I don’t care about CSI or Criminal Minds. I hate Reality TV (although Undercover Boss is a breath of fresh air.) BTW I never said anything about Chuck Norris making a guest appearance on The Unit. I did however say that (via the rumor mill) the creators of NUMB3RS had originally reserved a guest appearance spot for him (to help the show’s tremendously weak ratings.) Chuck was going to play, of course, a good guy. Don’t exactly know what his role was gonna be but it would’ve been cool if he reprised his role of (Cordell) Walker: Texas Ranger, teaming up w/the Eppes bros & the rest of the Southern Cal FBI task force. Hey it worked when Walker crossed over w/the very short lived Martial Law (which had completely different exec producers & production cos – Walker: Sony-Tri Star & ML: 20th Century Fox) a decade ago. Besides it’s Chuck Norris & he could guest appear under that character in any CBS show even in modern day primetime. Everything that guy touches turns to gold.

And as I recall the first NCIS cross episode with NCIS LA McGee was talking about how the NEW office in LA had such fabulous computers and what he could have done with them in his office…so as I took it, the LA office was brand new and Macy was a Special Agent, NOT the Director, and had been temporarily assigned there…OH, and by the by, neither Beth Broderick nor Louise Lombard have ever been on “The West Wing”, I think you might be thinking of the other buxom blonde the operatic soprano Kristen Chenowith, who is 4′10″ tall. Don’t you know about IMBD.com?

DJ, Beth Broderick played Sabrin’s Aunt Zelda Spellman, she is 51 years old…Special Agent Macey was played by Louise Lombard who is 39 years old…And if you use the terms “old” and “broad” again I’m going to have to label you an ageist and a misogynist (I hope you know how to use a dictionary)…Linda Hunt is a wonderful addition to a very testosterone drenched show and you are shorting yourself and your family’s vision of the show by not watching her performances…the character Linda Hunt plays is by far the most interesting, talented and mysterious person on either show. AND Chuck Norris couldn’t have saved The Unit, it was a gigantic soap opera with extremely improbable situations, and I quit watching the second season…Yawner.

Now back to NUMB3RS. The Scott bros used the episodes of the show to promote new music, most of it nobody gave a crap about to begin with. I mean come on, it’s today’s music, & most if not all of today’s music sucks! The music drove down the show’s ratings tremendously. It couldn’t have hurt the series ratings if they used more older classics in terms of music. The show’s ratings would’ve gone up quite a bit if they used a song from Billy Joel, Jim Croce or Air Supply at the end of an episode instead of some modern Johnny Come Lately artist most of the fans never even heard of. I still think a guest appearance from Chuck Norris would’ve helped the show in ratings a lot. Chuck’s got lots of fans, old & young. It would’ve worked.

@Beth Cornell. I NEVER said Linda Hunt was on “Sabrina.” You totally missed my point. Did anyone here watch the NCIS (Gibbs, Zeva, DiNoza, McGee, Abby, Ducky) episode where the NCIS:LA crew was first introduced – the episode that came a wk before the 2-pt season finale? Gibbs, Leon & McGee travel to LA in that ep to team w/the NCIS:LA crew. That epi had a different director, Macey, a much younger (& taller) blonde woman, who was the lead inverstigator when Gibbs wife & daughter were murdered. It was NOT Linda Hunt’s character Heddie. The original director was referred to by NCIS:LA crew mems as Mace. The taller blonde actress who played Mace, I think, if I’m not mistaken was Sabrina’s aunt (the prettier one, not Caroline Rhea’s character) on “Sabrina” & after “Sabrina” joined the cast of “The West Wing.” I don’t know the actress who portrayed Mace. Why isn’t Mace the director on NCIS:LA? How’d Heddie come into play all of a sudden? She wasn’t in the original NCIS episode where the NCIS:LA ensemble is first seen.
Repeat: I NEVER said Linda Hunt guest appeared on “Sabrina”!

AnnieM – What exactly is Linda Hunt’s role on the show? A real life NCIS agency would never have anyone that old running a unit as important as NCIS. Director Macey (Sam & Callen refered to her as Mace) was a woman. She was Sabrina’s aunt on “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” (not Caroline Rhea, the other older blonde broad.) She later joined the cast of “The West Wing.” I don’t remember the actress’s name but she was supposed to be the actual director of the unit as according to the original NCIS (watch the precursor episode which was the epi before last season’s NCIS 2-part finale – Rivken’s Demise.) I’m just not comfortable w/Linda Hunt as the director in LA. I tune out when she’s on. Nobody in my household likes her as director (if that’s what her role really is.) It’s too surreal IMHO.
