chuck_s3_300x250NBC has at long last announced a premiere date for Chuck, and it looks like they’re planning a massive event to kick things off–which is really the least that they could do having made us wait so long.  There will be a two-hour premiere on Sunday, January 10, at 9pm Eastern.  This will be simply two episodes back to back, as opposed to a two-hour movie.  Chuck will then move to its regular Monday 8pm time slot on January 11.

There had been rumors of a cast reduction, particularly given that Morgan left to pursue his dream of being a hibachi chef in the finale; however, the season cast was announced with the premiere info, and everyone is back with the exception of Julia Ling as Anna Wu, Buy More employee and sometime girlfriend of Morgan.

The series order has been extended from 13 episodes to 19; given the January premiere and the February break for the Winter Olympics, that will probably be it for the season.

To review:  Two days.  Three hours.  That’s some Chuck.

Now here’s a special message from Chuck.
